Did you know that a simple orange can help you with scalp issues?

Food that can help you with scalp

Take the peel of the orange (you may also use lemon) and grind it. Try to take only the orange part. Add this to 1 tablespoon of coconut-or almond- or macadamia oil.

Put this on your freshly washed scalp and gently massage. Leave on for 30- 45 minutes. Then rinse.

 

If you have scalp issues repeat this once every month.

Dry hair = hair that lacks moisture.

One simple treatment to condition your hair.

Cut up some okra (about 5) and add 1 cup of water. Let it sit for at least 12 hours. The okra will release the slime. Use a sieve to strain the okra fron the water.

You can add some essential oils to it (rosemary, lavender, peppermint). Pour the water into a spray bottle and apply to your hair.

Coat it with some oil and use a hairstyle (twists, bunny and betty, plaits etc). This will help to keep the moisture in better and longer.

You can also use this on your scalp.

For extra oomph..add a little aloe vera juice
